Today we honor a man of immense moral clarity, intellect and appreciation for freedom. A man who risked everything, and literally died for his country. That man is Martin Luther King Junior.
Enemies of freedom tried relentlessly to stop him. They assaulted him, repeatedly. Then they killed him. He died as a martyr for the American dream for motherfucking everyone. He was stabbed, punched by a Nazi, beaten in a hotel and had a rock thrown into his head. His home was firebombed, and he was relentlessly harassed by men who today, would be watching Fox Bullshit News.
He always held his head high, and never played the victim.
He didn’t stop. He marched on, literally. He kept coming for the enemies of freedom.
It took a bullet from the fascists to stop him.


By willfully breaking unjust laws (and accepting the penalty), King demonstrated that the highest form of respect for the law is refusing to follow laws that degrade human personality.
