Tonight’s board is blank. After checking major original-reporting and primary-source lanes, there was no credible U.S. development published within the last 12 hours that met the standard for this roundup on civil liberties, immigration enforcement, free speech, election administration, accountability, corruption, or abuse of power.
That is not the same as saying nothing matters. Plenty does. It means the fresh material wasn’t there without stretching the clock, inventing urgency, or serving yesterday’s roast beef as breaking news. Dick may live out of his car with empty Michelob bottles rolling around, but he still knows stale news is stale news.
